Membership
Rivermead offers a range of membership categories tailored to suit every lifestyle. Enjoy a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, all while being conveniently located just 15 minutes from downtown Ottawa/Gatineau.
Golf
Rivermead’s original nine-hole course was designed under the direction of Charles Murray in 1910. The course was expanded to 18 holes in 1915 by George Cumming, an associate of Stanley Thompson. In 1989, the golf course underwent a significant renovation by architects Ken Skodecek and Ken Venturi.
In 2023, a five-year course improvement project led by architect Jeff Mingay was completed. This project aimed to restore the golf course to its Golden Age-era roots and strategic layout. Changes included reimagined bunkering, expanded short grass areas, and the addition of multiple new tees.
Rivermead was recently ranked #72 in Canada and #8 in Quebec by Top 100 Golf Courses.
