2013 Rivermead Junior Program Summary

The 2013 Rivermead Junior program will provide our junior members with one of the top programs in the country. It will include:

An orientation session for all juniors and their parents
Approximately 34 free junior clinics lead by our Head Instructor Ralph Kuster, who has instructed 20 juniors who have received US golf scholarships
During the school year, the clinics will be on the weekend.
During summer break, they will be held twice a week.
Junior/Parent tournaments
Junior Field Days (Jul – Aug)
Junior Interclub Matches with other clubs
Junior Intersectional Matches with other clubs
Junior Club Championship

2013 Schedule

Rivermead is proud to be a strong supporter of junior golf. We have a comprehensive program in place to engage young members in the game and in our club.

The Junior Program was designed to:

Create a fun-filled environment where juniors can build lasting friendships
Have initiatives for all skill levels
Have specific programs for girls.
Develop skills and enhance the enjoyment of golfTeach juniors the values, rules and etiquette of the game.

The program has many events covering the entire golfing season. The main thrust of the program is during the summertime. During that period, there are:

Summer field days open to all junior members
Parent/Junior events
Exchange days with other private clubs
Junior Intersectional Team
Junior Club Championship
Golf camps and clinics

club des filles icone Rivermead is also focused on increasing the participation level of junior girls. We have incorporated the RCGA CN Future Links Program – Girls’ Club into our golf clinic program. The Girls’ Club is a program specifically designed for girls and their needs when they start to play golf.

Golf Clinics and Golf Camps

Our Rivermead professionals conduct regular golf clinics in the spring and summer golf camps in July for junior members. Clinics and camps are open to juniors of all ages and playing ability.

Sponsored Junior Membership

We have a limited number of Junior Memberships available to juniors whose parents or grandparents are not Rivermead members. Please contact the Club's General manager for more details at (819) 778-2000, ext. 202
