Jean-Pierre Brière, Restaurant Manager
Jean-Pierre Brière, Food and Beverage Manager (maître d’hôtel/sommelier), started in his position at Rivermead on November 1, 2011. Mr. Brière’s career in the hospitality industry includes restaurant, dining management and several years as an entrepreneur/owner of a four diamond restaurant in Quebec City.
A native of Nancy, France, M. Brière has a diploma from the École hôtelière INFAC TH in Nancy and worked in the hospitality and financial services for a number of years in France.
He has held several management positions as Food & Beverage Director, Maître d’hôtel and Sommelier in the hotel/restaurant sector since arriving in Canada in the late 1990s, including at a number of four-star establishments in Québec and on Montréal’s South Shore.
Anthony Simon, Chef
Mr. Simon was born in Lunéville, France, and holds diplomas as CAP Pâtissier-Chocolatier-Glacier and CAP/BEP Cuisine. For the past 15 years, he has worked as Chef de cuisine and Chef Pâtissier at prestigious restaurants and hotels in France, New Caledonia, Bora Bora, Switzerland and the Antilles.
