2016 MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES and privileges

 

Membership Privileges Include:


Full Playing Members/Full Playing Spouses

 

  • Unlimited golf privileges, no restrictions.

  • Full clubhouse privileges, including access to our banquet facilities for corporate and private events.

  • Unlimited use of Rivermead's newly expanded, 7 acre practice facility including driving range with some covered hitting   stations, two putting greens, a chipping and pitchin  area as well as a bunker.

  • Online and smartphone app tee time booking and tournament registration. Tee time reservations can be submitted nine days in advance with tee times posted online and sent via email and/or text three days in advance.

  • Complimentary use of pull carts.

  • Club storage and cleaning.

  • Locker, shoe cleaning, towel service and supplied toiletries.

  • Complimentary social membership for a non-playing spouse.

  • Golf and guest privileges at our growing number of reciprocal golf and dining clubs across Canada.

 

Restricted Members/Restricted Spouses

  • Restrictions on day or time of play:
  • Monday and Thursday : no restrictions
  • Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday: may play before noon, unless participating as a paid member in the Wednesday men’s league or Tuesday women’s league.
  • Full clubhouse privileges, including access to our banquet facilities for corporate and private events.       
  • Weekends/Holidays: may play after 1 pm, unless participating in the Women’s Weekenders’ event.
  • Online and smartphone app tee time booking and tournament registration. Tee time reservations can be submitted nine days in advance with tee times posted online and sent via email and/or text three days in advance.
  • Complimentary use of pull carts.
  • Club storage and cleaning.
  • Locker, shoe cleaning, towel service and supplied toiletries.
  • Complimentary social membership for a non-playing spouse.
  • Golf and guest privileges at our growing number of reciprocal golf and dining clubs across Canada.

Associate Members

  • Limit on number of rounds per year on Rivermead Golf Club’s 18-hole championship course, per category (10/20/30 games).
  • No restrictions on day or time of play.
  • Full clubhouse privileges, including access to our banquet facilities for corporate and private events.
  • Unlimited use of Rivermead's newly expanded, 7 acre practice facility including driving range with some covered hitting   stations, two putting greens, a chipping and pitching area as well as a bunker.
  • Online and smartphone app tee time booking and tournament registration. Tee time reservations can be submitted nine days in advance with tee times posted online and sent via email and/or text three days in advance.
  • Complimentary use of pull carts.
  • Club storage and cleaning.
  • Locker, shoe cleaning, towel service and supplied toiletries.
  • Associate 30 may purchase one additional package of five golf rounds for $500 plus taxes.
  • Golf and guest privileges at reciprocal golf and dining clubs across Canada is not included.
  • New associate members will not be a Rivermead shareholder.
  • Once the number of rounds associated with each associate category are reached, the member has the option of upgrading to the next level of Associate membership by paying the fee difference.
  • Associate 30 members may purchase one additional package of five golf rounds of golf for $500 plus taxes.

 

Intermediate Members

 

  • Unlimited golfing privileges, no restrictions.
  • Full clubhouse privileges, including access to our banquet facilities for corporate and private events.
  • Unlimited use of Rivermead's newly expanded, 7 acre practice facility including driving range with some covered hitting   stations, two putting greens, a chipping and pitching area as well as a bunker.
  • Online and smartphone app tee time booking and tournament registration. Tee time reservations can be submitted nine days in advance with tee times posted online and sent via email and/or text three days in advance.

  • Club storage and cleaning.

Corporate Members

 

  • Playing privileges for up to four individuals from the company, designated annually by the company and whose employ by the company is supported by documentation. A package of games that can be used by your designated members and their guests.
  • The Golf Services Fee as indicated in the fee schedule is for the principal membership; each named designate must also pay a Golf Services Fee of $500 plus applicable taxes.
  • Limit on the number of rounds of golf per year per category (60 or 80 games)
  • Weekdays: no restrictions.
  • Weekends and holidays: may play after 1 pm.
  • No participation in club competitions.
  • Online and iPhone app tee time booking and tournament registration Tee time reservations can be submitted nine days in advance. Tee times are posted online and emailed three days in advance.
  • Each designate is entitled to:
  • Unlimited golf privileges, no restrictions.
  • Full clubhouse privileges, including access to our banquet facilities for corporate and private events.
  • Unlimited use of Rivermead's newly expanded, 7 acre practice facility including driving range with some covered hitting   stations, two putting greens, a chipping and pitching area as well as a bunker.

Note: A fee of $250 is applicable to change the name of a designate during the calendar year

 

Getting Started Year 1

 

  • Six private lessons.
  • 1.5 hour weekly group lessons (May 1 to Aug 31).
  • One nine hole playing lesson.
  • Golf privileges after 4 pm, from July 1st onwards when playing with a playing member other than a junior.
  • May purchase up to 10 rounds of golf at the applicable guest fee rate for play at any time (beginning July 1) at the applicable guest fee.
  • Unlimited use of Rivermead's newly expanded, 7 acre practice facility including driving range with some covered hitting   stations, two putting greens, a chipping and pitching area as well as a bunker.
  • Online and smartphone app tee time booking and tournament registration. Tee time reservations can be submitted nine days in advance with tee times posted online and sent via email and/or text three days in advance.
  • Complimentary use of pull carts.
  • Club storage and cleaning.
  • Locker, shoe cleaning, towel service and supplied toiletries.

Junior Members

 

  • Restrictions on day or time of play as indicated below.
  • Full clubhouse privileges.
  • Online and iPhone app tee time booking and tournament registration Tee time reservations can be submitted nine days in advance. Tee times are posted online and emailed three days in advance.
  • Unlimited use of Rivermead's newly expanded, 7 acre practice facility including driving range with some covered hitting   stations, two putting greens, a chipping and pitching area as well as a bunker.
  • Complimentary use of pull carts.
  • Club Storage and cleaning for an additional fee of $75.

 

Pre-junior (7 – 9 years)

 

  • This category is reserved for children and grandchildren of golfing members of Rivermead Golf Club.
  • The Pre-juniors must be accompanied on the golf course at all times by the parent or grandparent golfing member.
  • Pre-juniors must tee off from the forward (red) tees on Par 3s, from the 150- yard marker on Par 4s and from the 200 yard marker on Par 5s unless the Head Professional approves play from the forward (red) tees.
  • The Head Professional must confirm that the pre-junior is capable of handling golf course play.
  • Restrictions on day and time of play :  
    Weekdays: after 5 pm    
    Weekends and Statutory Holidays: after 3 pm 

 

Beginners (10 to 18 years old as of January 1st)

  • This category is for junior members ose who do not yet have a handicap.
  • The Beginner Junior must play with a playing member at all times
  • Restrictions on day and time of play:
  • Weekdays: after 5 pm .
  • Weekends and Statutory Holidays: after 3 pm

Juniors (10 to 18 years old as of January 1st)

  • This category is for junior members ose who have an established handicap.
  • may play with other juniors during the appropriate times
  • Restrictions on day and time of play:
  • Weekdays: before noon and after 2pm (no play on Wednesdays after noon)
  • Weekends and Statutory Holidays: after 1 pm

Class A Juniors (10 to 18 years old as of January 1st)

  • This category is for junior boy members with handicap factors of 8.6 or less and junior girl members with handicap factors of 18.4 or less(Boys with handicap factors of 8.6 or less and girls with handicap factors of 18.4 or less)
  • Class A Juniors Mmay play outside the restricted times above with a playing member, if they have received permission from the Head Professional.professional staff
  • Class A Juniors ranked in the top 50 of the QGA order of merit and those who are members of a provincial golf team and who have submitted a positive letter of recommendation from a school principal or other adult in a similar position of authority can be approved to have the same playing privileges as full playing regular members.
  • Rivermead must be their home course, and they must play an active role in Rivermead’s junior program.

 

 
Social + Golf 5 + Golf Services Members

 

  • May play five rounds of golf per year
  • Full clubhouse privileges, including access to our banquet facilities for corporate and private events.
  • Unlimited use of Rivermead’s newly expanded, 7-acre practice facility including driving range with some covered hitting stations, two putting greens, a chipping and pitching area as well as a bunker.
  • Online and smartphone app tee time booking and tournament registration. Tee time reservations can be submitted nine days in advance with tee times posted online and sent via email and/or text three days in advance.
  • Complimentary use of pull carts.
  • Club storage and cleaning.
  • Locker, shoe cleaning, towel service and supplied toiletries.
  • Golf and guest privileges at reciprocal golf and dining clubs across Canada not included
  • Social members may not hold a Rivermead share

 

Social Members

 

  • May play up to a maximum of five rounds of golf per year as a guest of a golfing member upon payment of a guest fee.
  • Full clubhouse privileges, including access to our banquet facilities for corporate and private events.
  • May only use practice facility up to five days per year and only on the same day that a guest fee has been paid.
  • No other golf or locker room services are included.
  • Social members may not hold a Rivermead share.

 

Non-Resident Members

  • May play a total of 10 rounds of golf on Rivermead Golf Club’s 18-hole championship course
  • Six of those rounds of golf per year will be at no charge and the additional four rounds of golf per year will be at the prevailing guest fees
  • Full clubhouse privileges including access to our banquet facilities for corporate and private events
  • Online and iPhone app tee time booking and tournament registration Tee time reservations can be submitted nine days in advance. Tee times are posted online and emailed three days in advance.
  • May use the seven-acre practice facility only on the days when the 10 rounds are booked
  • Complimentary pull carts
  • No other golf services included
  • No locker or locker room services included
  • Reciprocal privileges are not included in non-resident memberships, with the exception of dining clubs
