Rivermead History

Rivermead Golf Club, founded in 1910, is one of the first clubs and best golf courses in the National Capital Region.

Rivermead offers a range of flexible membership categories to fit a variety of lifestyles, no initiation fees, a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere as well as a convenient location less than 15 minutes from downtown.

The Club’s objective is to provide members and guests – whether individuals, couples, families or businesses – with the best golf, dining and social experience in the region.

Rivermead is committed to continuous investment in our golf course and facilities. Most recently, in 2015, we completed construction of our new $175,000 short game practice facility and putting green, along with substantive improvements to our 13th hole and extensions to the 1st and 14th tees.
